Johnny and Ruthie Miracle homestead cabin

John McH Miracle and Ruthie Wilson Miracle were early homesteaders on Glade Park. This is their cabin. I am sure it is still there. Last time I visited in 2005 it looked like people still lived in it. They are my great-aunt and Uncle. This picture was taken by Elsie Green Miracle who grew up on Glade Park.

Question on cabin NEW
by: Anonymous

Approximately where is the cabin on this page located?
It looks similar in style to the old cabin off south 16-1/2. Are they the same?

seeking connection
by: Marla Grassi

Hello! I'm doing research on my dad's history and found these pages. My dad was Donald Ray Brentlinger. His parents were Ray Brentlinger and Stella Robbins. Stella's sister Ella was married to Creed Miracle and I know there are still cousins in Grand Junction. Do you know the connection? My email is mdgrassi@yahoo.com. Dad's funeral is Aug. 27 2022 in Tacoma WA. Thanks for any info you can share.

Miracle Homestead Cabin NEW
by: Debby Powell

I'm a newcomer to the area and absolutely love this cabin! The first evening I discovered it, we had a fantastic sunset that happened at the same time and it was indeed like a miracle. It must have been very well built, because it still looks like with just a few upgrades, you could live in it!
