GLADE PARK’S COMMUNITY DAYS
Come and join your neighbors in celebration of a wonderful summer season and the beautiful beginning of FALL. Community Day for the Park has been fun for all ages and a time for the organizations on the hill to thank you for all the support and participation over the year.
The event is hosted by The GP Fire Department, GP Church, GP 4-H and GP Community Center.
Date: September 15, 2018 Saturday
Time: Festivities begin with the Parade at 11:00am (The Parade Entry line up will begin at 10:00am in the Glade Park Postal Kiosk Parking Lot.)
To watch the parade, park at the Fire Department and gather along DS Road or 16.5.
Entries of all kinds are welcome in the parade. If you have a business on Glade Park, come join the parade in any type of vehicle, cart, wagon or trailer and advertise your business to the neighbors! Call Steve Miller (970) 243-8482 for Parade details.
After the parade at approximately noon there will be a free lunch hosted by the Fire Dept. This will be an outdoor event (indoor if it rains). After lunch there will be a piñata filled with toys, fun games and activities for the kids of all kinds! 4-H is hosting a cake walk that gives you a yummy treat to take home. To donate cakes for the cake walk call Emily at 970-623-0781. Bump and Jump and water games will be dependent on weather but come prepared with towels for the kids.
